Crockett & Jones was founded in 1879 in Northampton, England, by James Crockett and his brother-in-law, Charles Jones. In 1890, they introduced machinery for the Goodyear welt construction method and established a new factory, expanding their production capacity. During World War II, they produced as many as one million pairs of shoes, demonstrating their strong reputation as a shoe factory with high production capacity.

Since Jonathan Jones became president in 1977, Crockett & Jones has focused on branding and transforming its operations to produce higher-quality shoes. As a result, the company has gained recognition from many critics and shoe enthusiasts as offering excellent value for money due to the quality of its materials and craftsmanship.

One of the brand's flagship models is the "Moulton," which boasts a timeless design unaffected by trends. The 292 last fits Japanese feet well, and the Ridgeway sole provides excellent grip, making it comfortable to wear and suitable for changing weather conditions. Its refined appearance makes it suitable for wearing with suits and matches a variety of styles.

Until recently, Crockett & Jones was also famous for its OEM (original equipment manufacturer) business, leveraging its high level of technical expertise. In addition to the high level of skill that top brands such as John Lobb and George Cleverley all commissioned, their flexible approach to custom orders has earned them the title of the brand with the most lasts (shoe molds) in the world.

With the motto, "To create shoes that are always considered tasteful even after being worn for more than 10 years," they manufacture shoes that incorporate the needs of the times while utilizing traditional techniques and methods that have been passed down for many years.
