Founded in Scotland and growing as a local industry, Kerry Woollen Mills was acquired by the Edie family in 1904 and moved its base to the naturally beautiful Kerry region in southwestern Ireland.

This knitting factory, which has maintained traditional styles from sheep farming to manufacturing methods to this day, is particularly famous for its Aran knitwear.

The wool used in these products is exclusively pure wool from sheep raised on organic farms certified by the EU's Organic Trust, free from chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Often, the natural color of the wool is preserved, and environmentally conscious dyeing processes are employed, resulting in products characterized by gentle colors and a soft texture.
